I imagined John Blanke as a courageous and resilient creative who chose the timeless medium of graffiti to capture his presence as an African in the European Royal Court for future generations to unearth. 

I reimagine his skilful use of language, both written and spoken in my freestyle calligrafffiti artwork.  Through the beautiful script he proudly declares; I was here and I was exceptional!
